No matter how old or new your piano is, we offer full servicing for your instrument. In-home services can be booked for tunings, regulations, voicings, and any maintenance needs for your acoustic or hybrid piano. 

At Amadeus Music, we pride ourselves on the fact that we sell quality musical instruments and not just “new in a box” items. We inspect and go through all our pianos once uncrated. They are checked over with an extensive pre-delivery check to ensure that when the piano arrives at its new home, it’s perfect for the player. This is something we believe in strongly as we sell pianos, not boxes.

When buying a new piano, we offer the following add-on service packages:

3 Year Service Package - $599.00

•  A total of 3 tunings (1 per year)
• 3 additional service calls for maintenance needs (tuning excluded)

5 Year Service Package – $899.00

• A total of 5 tunings (1 per year)
• 5 additional service calls for maintenance needs (tuning excluded)

Tunings included in Service Packages are all-inclusive of the 1 st tuning as well, meaning that the Service Package total number of tunings is the complete and final number of tunings. Additional Service Calls for maintenance needs include service calls for minor adjustments and excludes full services such as full regulations, rebuilds, and also excludes warranty work.

Why Is Piano Tuning Important?

How Often Should You Tune Your Piano?

The frequency of piano tuning depends on several factors, including the piano’s age, usage, and the environment it’s in. However, as a general guideline:

• For home pianos, it’s recommended to have them tuned at least once or twice a year to maintain their sound quality
• Concert pianos used for performances may require tuning before every event or season due to the demands of professional musicians
• Newly purchased pianos or those that have been moved to a different location should be tuned to acclimate to their new environment
